Message from Tom and Diane We want to say thanks for the continued support from our growing family of Branson and Mahindra tractors owners. We really feel we are part of the Okeechobee community because of your friendship. Okeechobee is truly a great place to live and run a business! Moultrie Ag Expo
|
Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition We just returned from the Southern Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia and had an opportunity to really get a good look at what the competition has to offer this season. Overall, the Branson Tractors are just a cleaner design than what the other companies are offering. We also got to see a lot of new equipment and our Kodiak and Woods lines compare very favorably with the other brands we saw. Kodiak was at the show with their new 15’ batwing cutter they call “Ol’ Grizz.” This cutter is heavily built with a lot of great design details and will be available at All Coast Tractor in the near future. The pricing was not available at the time of the show, but will be available soon at our store. Color brochures are available now and feature several photos of the cutter being pulled by a Branson 6530 Cab model tractor. Branson and Mahindra tractors were well represented at the show. Branson was showing the new 5530 ROPS tractor for the first time. This is a good looking tractor, much like the 6530 ROPS, with a turbocharged 55 hp four cylinder engine. A nice addition to the line! Mahindra was featuring a new small tractor in the 15 line. It is a 24 HP sub-compact tractor much like the new 3215 and 2815 that are currently on our lot. These feature packed tractors are going to be a big seller for Mahindra and are available at our stores in Okeechobee and LaBelle. |

| Tractor Uses
|
Got to talking with Jeff Clemons the other day, he was telling me that he had put his Branson 6530 Cab model tractor to use in a small logging operation at the ranch the other day. It seems that the beetles had gotten to several of the large pine trees that stand near his home up by Basinger, and needed to be cut. With the trees standing so close to the home, the tractor and loader were brought in to "influence" the direction of fall when they cut the trees. This means, drive up between the house and the tree, lift the loader way up and give the tree a little push as the chainsaw is working at the base. Later, the same tractor and loader were used for the cleanup of all the tree and brush. I knew that Jeff used the tractor in his groves, but this is the first I had heard of using the 6530 for logging. Thanks for the story Jeff. |
| More Tractor Uses | Remember that All Coast Tractor is able to adapt a tractor to meet your needs. In the past few months, we have designed and built a pallet fork that will fit on either the loader or the three point hitch of a Branson Tractor, for landscaper Paul Whitaker from Palm City. We have installed several of our new Bucket Grapples for new tractor owners in the area and are getting great reports about how well these inexpensive grapples work in cleanup chores around the ranch. We have produced a couple tree booms as well, for tractor owners who have a need to move palm trees on the ranch. Remember that All Coast Tractor has backhoes available for any of our tractors if you find yourself in a position to dig a hole. If the holes you need to dig are smaller, consider a post hole digger attachment for your Branson or Mahindra Tractor. |

Watch that hour meter on your tractor. Branson and Mahindra Tractors both require their first service when the clock approaches 50 hours. In most cases all that is required is an oil change and fresh filter, but this is a good time to really check out that tractor. Be sure to take the air cleaner apart and blow it out with some compressed air. It’s a good idea to do the same thing to the radiator as the tractor will cool better with a clean radiator. Make sure that the loader gets greased about every 10 hours, and other fluids are full and in good shape and that all the bolts and screws are tight. Here at All Coast Tractor, we have all the fluids and filters that are necessary for that 50 or 100 hour service. Additionally, we have just received a shipment of Branson Big Red Tractor Wash and MAX Tractor Degreaser.
